The perks of being an aunt

The best part of being an aunt, besides being nicknamed BeccaDaniel, is babysitting.  It's all the fun of hanging out with little kids without having to deal with them 24/7. Also, any time there is a community event that seems to be geared towards children, I can steal Jade and Jonathan and then I don't look nearly as weird as if it were just Daniel and I.

What is it that makes children so irresistible. Anna's thoughts:

"I have this theory about toddlers that most of the reason why everything they say is so dang cute is because they say it with a really high-pitched voice and confuse some of the words. Though, I tend to do the same thing here in French and people find it significantly less funny, so..."

Here are a couple of pictures from the most recent babysitting adventures Daniel and I have had. One was a fun Saturday date with Doctor Jade and another was Provo library event.

At a library event

Jonathan's facial hair is growing faster than his head hair. I think he will turn out just like his father.

Jade got really excited by this door at the library castle. She borrowed Daniel's car key to try and get it open and then said "it doesn't fit" and made us try.

Daniel is smitten by this baby.
